Another solution is a ‘wet face spray’ finish. If you have either localised damage on a wheel or on different parts of the same wheel we can repair and re-colour even just one wheel to colour match the rest of the wheels. This type of finish is faster to achieve, usually with a 48-hour turnaround. If the damage is spread around the wheel then it may be worthwhile to treat the full face of the wheel. Sometimes customers request that the rear of the wheel be treated and re-painted as well. The colour options are very good to better match the current wheel colours.
This process is often adopted for insurance repairs and for vehicles that need to be returned to lease companies. This repair can save customers paying high excess charges if they damage lease / hire car wheels.
Depending on the size of the wheel and finish, wet face close colour match repairs costs from just £90.00 per wheel.
Below is a selection of our smart close colour match wheel repairs.
Using our wet face process we can ‘smart repair’ diamond cut wheels that have been damaged in certain places, thus possibly saving you the full cost of machining your wheels to achive the diamond cut effect.
We repair and prep the affected area then blow it in to match the rest of the wheel as shown in the examples. It is very hard to notice that the wheel has been repaired!
