Electrical and electronic systems in your vehicle route power, data and information and handle the conduct of certain vehicle systems and frameworks. Modules, wiring, fuses, circuit breakers and relays link all these system elements together. Corroded or broken wiring / bent component pins, and loose / faulty connectors or switches may result in vehicles having electrical issues that lead to either intermittent faults or make the vehicle inoperative or difficult to start.
It is prudent to have the electrical issues diagnosed and repaired quickly to prevent the problem escalating and spreading and potentially becoming more costly to resolve in the future.
If you are having problems with persistent or intermittent electrical issues, TyreCom Autos offer a general electrical fault finding service and can identify problems such as locating shorts, bad earths, grounds, open, and resistance problems in electrical and electronic circuits. We can repair / replace electrical wiring, wiring harnesses, components, connectors and switches, etc.
Car starting issues which can be incredibly inconvenient at any time, especially such as before going to work or when stuck in a car park. Flat car batteries can be logically explained when the cause was by human error such as leaving lights and gadgets on in the vehicle. Another reason may be a natural decline in the battery’s performance and ability to hold charge due to regular / normal use. You may be at the point of having replaced the battery already, however, the problem persists…
TyreCom Autos use general electrical testing equipment such as multimeters as well as equipment specifically designed to test specific components such as the car battery, starter motor and alternator. The equipment measures key electrical signals which is translated into data and a report which states the health and condition of these components which can save valuable time.
Once we interpret the data and report, we may determine a faulty component is the cause. We can then can repair / fit replacement parts, be they OE (Original Equipment) parts or equivalent or value for money after-market options.
